The Memorial Foundation brings people, programs and partners together to meet the emerging health needs of the community. That is the promise in our mission statement. Over the past year, the foundation fulfilled that promise with the generous support and partnership of the Yakima community. We have fulfilled the promise to begin expansion of Children’s Village to better accommodate children needing services; the promise to find a home for Cottage in the Meadow hospice care center, where families can spend their final days together in comfort; the promise to develop Transitions palliative care program for those with life-limiting illness; the promise to expand Tomando Control de su Salud, to increase the self management of chronic disease.
